Just checking in and wondering if anyone is reading my posts here. Would love to see some comments!
We are still doing well in Ålesund. Lanie has learned to climb stairs on her own, with me very close by of course. She gets a lot of practice since we are on the 4th floor. Her favorite thing to eat here seems to be polser and somedays that is the ONLY thing I can get her to eat. She must be taking after her father, who ate a lot of polser when he visited Norway.
Well my time on the computer at the library is about up, so I will post more later. Still haven’t been able to get on a wireless network due to a problem with my AC adaptor. I have ordered a replacement so once I get it I will be out looking for a wireless network again! Then maybe I can get some pictures posted!

Well, I finally figured out how to get a password so I could log on and reply! YES I have been reading your posts and am really looking forward to seeing some pictures. Even though I don’t get to see you guys often, it seems that I miss you even more, knowing you are all the way in Norway. I am so happy that Lanie is getting to absorb some of her heritage this early in life, so that the language will imprint on her now. Sounds crazy, but I believe that hearing it at this age will make it easier for her to learn both languages later. Tell her not to steal chocolate ! I was taking care of a friend’s dog while he was away, and one day I noticed some imported chocolate on his kitchen counter. I took a bite and broke off a front tooth ! There is a price to pay for stealing.. hehehe
I love you both and hope you are having a wonderful time. Can’t wait for the pictures, either posted from Norway, or upon your return.
